National Account Manager - Vending / Leisure Alexander Steele is recruiting on behalf of a Global Manufacturer of Food / Bakery / Confectionery ingredients. This client is a world leader in their sector and operates across the full supply chain from the sourcing of raw materials to high quality end ingredients both valued added & in bulk. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a National Account Manager to join the team and will act as the lead contact in the vending sector. This role will develop existing business whilst looking at new opportunities. Hybrid Working - 1 x per month in the Office min (South UK) Expectation to visit 4 x clients per week. Full autonomy of your diary. £50k - £55k + Company Car / allowance + Bonus + Strong Benefits What your tasks are: • Become the ingredient expert for automatic dispense. • Drive growth for the UK by converting white space within existing customers and winning business with new customers. • Develop and maintain effective customer relationships in the UK Vending Industry. • Main customer contact will be with Buyers, Managing Directors & Owner operators. • Creating & implementing an effective business strategy per account. • Negotiating and managing commercial agreements including JBPs. • Maintaining and reviewing sales performance trackers. • Utilising NPI activation. Scope: • Management of Buying Groups to their Members, Key Wholesalers & large independent operators. • Geographical coverage across the entire UK & ROI. • This is a home / field based position with hot-desk availability in the North or South of England. What are we looking for: • Track record in optimising opportunities and gaining incremental sales. • Strong presentation & interpersonal skills both internally & externally. • Excellent forecasting skills and comfortable with data. • Desire to grow as an individual, self-starter.
