Alexander Steele are working with a food business in Derbyshire which are looking to recruit a Warehouse Supervisor. The ideal candidate has experience leading a team and working within food.

Key Responsibilities

Support the Warehouse Manager in managing a busy warehouse and dispatch operation.
Develop and maintain an effective team structure to ensure staff skills and knowledge meet expected standards.
Ensure KPIs are consistently achieved and reported weekly to the Warehouse Manager.
Manage GMP, health and safety, and risk assessments as part of day-to-day operations.
Prepare a monthly staff rota to ensure appropriate manning and staffing levels.
Lead daily team meetings as required to communicate objectives and updates.
Develop a training matrix and SMART plan for staff, ensuring all training progress is monitored effectively.
Inspire and motivate warehouse operatives to meet operational targets.

On Offer

Base salary of £33,500.

5 out of 7 days shift pattern - shifts are 11-8 during week, 7-4 weekends, (1 weekend day, every 2 weeks).
