Alexander Steele continue to partner with an exceptional food business that supplies a range of quality, luxury products into major UK retailers. Due to growth, the business is looking to appoint a Technical Account Manager at their site in Lincolnshire. On offer: • Salary range is £50,000 - £60,000 +bonus • 33 days annual leave • Matched pension scheme • Healthcare The role: The Role: Reporting to the UK Head of Technical, as Technical Account Manager you will be the primary contact for key customer accounts and liaise with them for all technical matters. You work closely with stakeholders across Technical and Quality to ensure that only the highest quality and integrity standards are upheld. Key accountabilities: • Manage all customer technical and quality requirements • Work cross functionally to manage suppliers and ensure they are compliant. • Manage the flow of information between supplying sites and customers. • Management and development of a technical team. • Support the business sites to uphold external accreditations by preparing and leading the business site audits and developing corrective action plans. • Lead the continuous improvement across quality across the site. • Management of QMS to monitor and review performance. Ensuring appropriate action is taken and implementation of product and process improvement. • Continual monitoring of legislation and industry guidelines. • Create, collate and manage the product file system to guarantee integrity and accuracy of information held by the business for its customers. • Facilitate and provide technical support with the launch of products. • Establish product quality and benchmarking panels to monitor the product performance and quality, providing feedback to relevant teams. The Candidate • Experience within the chilled food manufacturing sector is essential. • Excellent UK retail experience • Demonstrable experience or qualifications within the food industry. • The ability to manage projects & improving processes • Significant experience of food safety and quality management systems including HACCP, internal auditing, and complaint handling. • Experience of managing customer expectations within a customer facing role. • Excellent communication is required to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
