Job Title: Senior National Account Manager (Grocery) Location: London, but this is a remote role with requirement to London once per month Reports to: CEO/Founder Job Type: Full-Time Our Client is an exciting, innovative, fast-growing start-up in the soft drinks industry, committed to creating high-quality, unique beverages that stand out in the market. They are continuing to grow, we are looking for a passionate and driven Senior National Account Manager with Grocery channel experience to join the team and help them build the brand and expand their market presence within the grocery channel. Job Overview: The Senior National Account Manager (SNAM) for the Grocery Channel will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to drive growth and profitability within grocery retail accounts. This role requires a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to manage all aspects of sales within the grocery channel, including account management, relationship building, and sales execution. Key Responsibilities: Account Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key grocery retail accounts. Serve as the primary point of contact for grocery channel accounts, ensuring exceptional customer service. Negotiate and manage contracts, terms, and agreements with grocery retailers. Monitor account performance, providing regular updates. Sales Strategy and Execution: Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company sales targets and objectives within the grocery channel. Identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships within the grocery sector. Conduct sales presentations, negotiations, and closing deals with grocery retailers. Monitor sales performance and provide regular reports and forecasts. Market Analysis and Planning: Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape within the grocery channel. Develop and execute account-specific plans to drive sales and market share. Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to ensure alignment on strategies and initiatives. Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and preferences. Develop and implement customer loyalty programs and initiatives to enhance customer retention. Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional and timely manner. Qualifications: Proven experience in national account management within in the soft drink/ beverage industry with a focus on the grocery channel. Strong understanding of the grocery retail environment and key players in the market. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret market data and trends. Creative thinker with a strategic mindset and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work in a fast-paced, start-up environment and adapt to changing priorities. Benefits: Competitive salary + Bonus.
