Alexander Steele Recruitment have partnered with an established food manufacturer that produces a range of quality products to be supplied in to retailers and food service across the UK. An exciting opportunity has arisen in their NPD department for an NPD Process Technologist to join them at their facility in West London. On offer: • Salary is £35,000 - £40,000 DOE • 31 days holidays • Pension • Working Mon - Fri The role: As NPD Process Technologist you will be responsible for the smooth and efficient transition of products from concept through to market launch. It involves coordinating with various teams to meet deadlines, manage resources, and ensure that products meet quality and regulatory standards. Additionally, the role is responsible for identifying opportunities for process improvements within the factory, driving operational efficiencies, reducing costs, and enhancing productivity to support the business’s overall success and profitability Key accountabilities; • Creation of finished product manuals • Working collaboratively with operations and production for all upcoming production trials and ensure they are undertaken within the agreed time-scales and schedules. • Coordination of pre-production and launch preparation • Accurate documentation of all the settings for all machinery and ensure this filed in product manuals. • Work with technical, commercial and operations to ensure that the product meets the agreed specification. • Ensure all samples are sent on time and in full. • Documentation and photographs of finished products. • Work with the Technical team to ensure an effective process is established for full scale production.
