Manufacturing Team Manager (Night Shift)

Alexander Steele continues to work in partnership with this global leading food manufacturer based in Carlisle who have grown consistently year on year for the last 5 years with growth projected to continue for the next 5. They are looking for a Production Management professional to lead team members and ensure that production targets are met for the site. Key responsibilities: • Lead, manage, and motivate a large team of production staff across multiple production lines. • Ensure that the team operates cohesively and efficiently to meet production targets and quality standards. • Foster a positive and productive work environment, encouraging professional development and continuous improvement. • Responsible for Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and potential efficiency; accuracy & waste recording; downtime; packet weights; labour numbers and efficiency. Candidate requirements: • Production management experience gained in a food manufacturing environment. • You must have a high level of people management experience within Production or Operations within Food Manufacturing, this is a must have. • Knowledge of driving & implementing a C.I/Lean culture • Confident, effective and challenging communicator, and be able to demonstrate a track record in leading teams to drive up standards and improve efficiency in all areas What’s On Offer: • Salary: £44 000 to £47 000 • Bonus • Pension • Holiday Entitlement • Private Healthcare • NB: This role is night shift from 22:00-06:00.
