Our client, a leading global food manufacturer is urgently looking for a Demand Planner to lead the base and promotional forecast for their customer portfolio at a customer-sku level, working with the account team and collaboration manager to improve the accuracy of the forecast. Key responsibilities • Conduct formal weekly forecasting meetings with Account Managers to review and amend short- and medium-term demand forecasts. • Own the decision making in forecast adjustments, using historical and current data to rationalise proposed changes, focusing on post promotional performance, new product launches, distribution changes & future promotional phasing. • Meet the monthly forecast accuracy & bias targets. • Maintain data inputs to the demand planning forecast management tool. • Attend regular Demand Planning meetings and provide input on sales performance to share potential market changes with your colleagues. • Formally request increases in demand from the supply chain via short notice requests form. • Work collaborating with Sales Team to ensure seasonal phasing is continually aligned with the formal seasonal forecast freeze for your account Candidate requirements: • Demand Planning and Forecasting experience in a FMCG environment • Strong understanding of the Sales & Operational Planning (S&Op) process. • Good numerical and analytical skills • Ability to interact and engage effectively across all levels in the organisation On Offer • Salary will be circa £40K to £48K + Bonus + Benefits • 25 days leave + 8 bank holidays • The role will be based in the West London area • Hybrid remote working options (3 days in the office)
