A leading global manufacturer in the consumer packaging sector is seeking a Vice President of Supply Chain & Logistics to lead the EMEA supply chain for its Beverage Can division. Based in Switzerland, this executive role will oversee all aspects of supply chain, logistics, procurement, and planning across a complex multi-plant, multi-country operation.

As a key member of the regional leadership team, you’ll shape and deliver the supply chain strategy to drive service, efficiency, sustainability, and long-term business growth.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end EMEA supply chain operations: planning, logistics, procurement, warehousing, and customer service

  • Define and execute regional supply chain strategy aligned with global business objectives

  • Drive S&OP, inventory optimisation, and network efficiency across 15+ countries

  • Oversee logistics and distribution, including 3PL partnerships and transport optimisation

  • Lead procurement activities and supplier performance management

  • Support digital transformation and supply chain systems enhancement (e.g., SAP, analytics)

  • Build and develop a high-performing, cross-regional supply chain team


Candidate Profile

  • 15+ years’ supply chain experience in manufacturing/FMCG environments; 5+ years in a VP/regional leadership role

  • Strong background in complex, multi-country operations and supply chain transformation

  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver strategic impact

  • Fluent English required; other European languages an advantage

  • Willing to relocate to or currently based in Switzerland; regional travel required
