Customer Account Manager Alexander Steele are working exclusively with a globally successful alcoholic spirits business. The business have a portfolio of market leading brands, and they are enjoying a significant period of growth. They are expanding their On Trade sales team. Field Based – Esst Midlands & East Anglia Up to £40k + car allow + 20% bonus + benefits Key Responsibilities: • Professional management of a portfolio of customer accounts to meet and exceed budgeted volume and value sales • Increase distribution of our portfolio and grow rate of sale within a large and diverse customer base, developing robust JBPs/JMPs • Differentiate our brands by creating and executing innovative in-outlet activation, striving to secure maximum visibility of our brands • Build and develop relationships with key customers and groups within your territory, becoming the go-to supplier • Train and educate in outlet team members to deliver perfect serves and collaborate to create new and exciting cocktails, delivering increase ROS • Proactively seek out new business opportunities to grow your on-trade customer base • Understand and deliver insight to the business on weekly and monthly customer performance, drive action from this and deliver incremental growth • Ensure accurate internal communication to supply team re promotions/activations/changes to distribution are kept up to date • Cross functional working within the UK business and international departments. • Develop excellent product knowledge and critically be aware of all market trends across beers wines and spirits Experience and skills required: • Minimum 2 years’ experience in sales, marketing, or related field within the on-trade • Brands drinks experience and use in cocktails would be advantageous • Entrepreneurial and ambitious self-starter with the ability to achieve targets and effectively organise own work schedule • Strong communication skills (both written and oral) • Strong commercial/financial understanding, together with intellect and curiosity to interpret performance, recommending appropriate actions • Ability to manage projects and multi-task whilst building strong and positive relationships at all levels (internal and external) • Comfortable managing some key accounts, building strong commercial relationships • Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, being pro active and able to handle uncertainty • Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint • Passionate about spirits and wines
